The Yellow Trinidad Scorpion Heat = 1 - 2 million SHU. Average heat is approximately 1.3 million SHU. Flavor = Rich juicy, citrus flavor with very high heat. Look = Typically a larger pepper for the super hots. 2-4" long and up to 2" in diameter. Smooth flesh with large flowing waves. Some may sport the scorpion tail, but as the flesh is quite thick the tails are rather short and fat. Starts out Green and ends up Yellow when ripe. Size = Plants tend to be 2-3 feet in height with rather large leaves. Tends to be a lower numbered pod producer as the pepper pods are rather large for a super hot. Uses = Beautiful addition to any garden. This is a pepper great for creating Caribbean Jerk sauces, rubs, and marinades that have more kick than a Scotch Bonnet. Combine with a Yellow Scotch Bonnet for a similar citrus flavor with an in between type of heat. Excellent addition for your farmer's market sales as they are very attractive and help add diversity to your displays. Seeds are packaged in labeled zip lock bags.
