Description: Yamaha MT4X Multi-Track Cassette Tape Recorder Board w/ DBX. Condition is used. This was an estate sale find from a clean home. The exterior is clean and there are just a few scuffs on the top. It is PARTIALLY TESTED. I was able to play a cassette, confirm that FF, REW, Pause all work. The motor is strong and it had good sound quality. There are two speeds and a pitch control - all work. DBX works. The record functions, but I did not record anything using the mixing board or other special features. I partially checked the other switches and controls by turning, pressing, or sliding them and heard changes in the volume or tone. There was some static in some of the slides and controls but only when operated. It probably needs some cleaning and deoxit. Again, I just did a partial test. I don't have any bench equipment. You should assume it will need some cleaning and may need other service work to function 100%. NOTE: there is a non-stock replacement knob on the first channel PAN knob.
