Description: Original and legendary WW2 USMC Ka-Bar fighting knife which was first adopted by the USMC in November 1942. This knife has on overall length of 12” and blade length of 7”. The blade shows some honest use, with light to moderate sharpening, surface spotting, and minor wear. It is partially marked U.S.M.C. below the hilt on the right side, and a trace of KA-BAR on the left (note the letter A in the photo). The leather washers are in good shape and the pommel shows no wear. The original leather sheath and leather strap shows some good honest wear but has original russet color. A nice addition to any WW2 USMC Pacific Theatre collection. Shipped promptly.
