Description: You are bidding on a FANTASTIC set of TWO UNISSUED WW2 German Heer Luftwaffe M30/M38 Gas Mask Lenses! These masks were issued to all Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht personnel throughout WW2. With the development of poisonous gases used as offensive weapons throughout WW1, appropriate defensive gasmasks had to be developed. The early M1915 and 1917 gasmasks evolved into the M24, and eventually into the M30 and M38 versions. All German Army and Airforce personnel were issued a gas mask, carry canister and accessories, and were required to have them ready at all times. Made of celluloid and retained in their original paper wrapping, these Gas Mask Lenses are in SUPERB NOS condition! Part of a complete box of 125 individual sets, you are bidding on ONE elevenope that contains TWO lenses in total. They are in PERFECT unused condition! Some slight marks and wear to the paper wrapping, but nothing that detracts. Manufacture date is 1944, as stamped onto the original box, along with manufacture information. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display! Please note that you are bidding on ONE set of lenses, NOT the complete set of 125 as shown in the first photo.
