You are only required to know how to boot from a CD or USB on your computer and follow a few simple steps to get back into your Windows account again. See the included video for a preview of how it works. This software is compatible with any version of Windows including XP, Vista, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11. The instructions are included on the media and can be previewed once you boot from the media. The media is custom made by me and contains GPL software that does the password manipulation. It is also important to note that this software was created to modify passwords for Microsoft Windows, but does not work with bitlocker or BIOS passwords. Just an note about the media: Be aware that it may take some time to load as the software essentially loads an operating system so it will take quite a bit longer to load from a CD. The CD version also includes a text based password reset option which will load much faster, but is a little more complicated to use. Documentation is included on the CD on how to use the text based version. The USB only includes the Graphical based version. The CD will not include any labels custom labeling unless it is ordered.
