They have the correct thread of 8 X 36. They have the correct Post 64 ring wire size (5/32) & diameter (1 & 1/16). These are for Winchester Saddle Ring Carbines with serial number greater than 2,700,000. They also fit the Commemorative Winchesters that have the hole drilled and tapped for the Ring & Stud. Note: The receiver must have a hole drilled & tapped on the left side for the stud to screw into. 8-36 TPI. Winchester Carbines that came with saddle rings have the hold. These studs do not screw into one of the normal receiver screw holes. If yours does not have this hole, it takes special equipment and skills to install one.
