Description: Even the old timers couldn't tell me for sure what this was used for. It was found in a corner in a barn. I guess it could be whatever you wanted it to be. Definitely a PRIMITIVE item. Again, it is pitted, appears to be hand forged, cast iron, original patina mounted on a stick. Some of guesses were a mining pick, hay fork, etc. The log stick is cracked and has alot of play in it and could remove so that you wouldn't have the extra shipping costs (will be adjusted). It measures 41" long. Cast forks measure 7" across and tines measure approximately 9" long. Metal plate used for mounting is 14" long x 2" at its widest point. Weighs 7.6 lbs Any REASONABLE offers will be considered. Please examine ALL pictures carefully since I do NOT accept returns. Most of my items are found at many of the farms going out of business or retiring from farming. I will describe them to the best of my knowledge. If have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me. If, after you receive item, it does not meet your expectations, please contact me. Also worth mentioning, since many of my items are big and bulky, I do recycle/reuse/resize cardboard.
