Description: Wedgwood Flow BlueDINNER PLATE"Ivanhoe & Rowena"Made in Englandc. 1885 Description: This listing is for a Wedgwood round Flow Blue dinner plate. Inspired by the novel, Ivanhoe, this plates central scene is a depiction of Ivanhoe and Rowena. It is adorned with character portraits on the rim and an assortment of woodland wildlife. Maker Mark: The Wedgwood name is impressed onto base of plate. Reads: IVANHOE... WEDGWOOD... ETRURIA... ENGLAND There is a blue letter B and another number/letter printed.Several numbers/letters that are unintelligible can be seen impressed onto plate Believe this was manufactured c. 1885 Size: Measures approx. 10-1/4" Diameter Condition: Antique Pre-Owned. No chips or repairs are seen. Typical manufacturing flaws as with its age will be seen. Minor utensil marks. A stained crack is in the 2:00 area of the front and backside of plate (see photo).
