VTG Murano E&R Uranium Vaseline Glass Egg Millefiori Pulled Feather Paperweight

Description: This beautiful vintage Murano paperweight egg is a true gem for collectors. Handmade in Italy using the traditional hand blown glass technique, this piece features a stunning pulled feather pattern with vibrant multicolored hues including five (5) millefior/murrine cut canes and has a slight iridescentsheen to it. The egg is from the mid-20th century, specifically the 1950s, and has been well-preserved since then. However, it does have a very small fleabite chip on the very bottom, as well as a spot that appears to possibly be an internal bruise (as shown in the photos). This stunner of an item glows VIBRANTLY from the inside out using either a 365nm or a 395nm UV black light due to the inside being vaseline glass, which contains high amounts of uranium. Item measures roughly: 3" high 2" wide. The intricate details and artistry of this paperweight make it a great addition to any collection, especially those interested in mid-century modern style.
