HERE WE HAVE: A vintage, metal jug or can marked with advertising for Meadow Gold of St. Joseph, Missouri! After "MO" it says "57", so possibly from 1957? The information is stamped into the metal so it's slightly recessed.Metal jug with a lid and two handles. Not sure if it would have been for milk/cream or ice cream.. probably the former? There's a spout-like hole in the bottom of the jug, but I don't have a plug or stopper for it. It was painted the yellow/red at some point after production. There are swirly, flower decals scattered about on the sides of the jug, also doubt those are original but they're under the yellow paint so they're older than that! The lid takes some muscle to take off! CONDITION: Being sold as is, definitely in more primitive, vintage condition! As noted, the piece was painted at some point and there are floral decals or stickers under the paint. Surface corrosion, color loss, stains, scratches, and scuffs throughout. The lid is pretty dented. Inside is clean considering the age! There's a spout-like hole in the bottom of the jug, but I don't have a plug or stopper for it.
