Description: Offered is a vintage first aid kit model M2 USCG approval 16004 by E. B. Bullard. Based in San Francisco the Bullard company started selling first aid kits to the military in 1898. This kit is made of a heavy metal with closures on all 4 sides, two of which act as hinges. Inside are the original supplies. in boxes covered with plastic. Some are missing, some have been opened and most are still sealed. The box is approximately 9 3/4 inch square, 2 3/4 inch deep and weighs 5 pounds 15 ounces.Instruction fur usr are written on the lid . Along with the kit us offered instruments used to deliver medical care. Each instrument has a slot in a canvas that rolls up with a tie closure. There are some pieces missing and the canvas is torn. I do not know the manufacturer of the instruments.
