The receiver was produced mainly for export and as a military receiver for political instructors. It is designed to operate in the LW, MW, SW, VHF bands. In the LW, MW bands, reception is carried out using a magnetic antenna, in SW, VHF, using a telescopic antenna. The design of the receiver and its circuitry are similar to the Orion-302 RP. The difference is in the boundaries of the SW subranges and the rearrangement of the keys on the front panel. Ranges: LW, MW, SW-1 19 m, SW-2 25 m, SW-3 31...49 m, VHR 4.56...4.11 m.
