Description: Vintage Yamaha Natural Sound CR-420 Receiver. Powers on, works minimally, will need to be repaired for sure. Cabinet banged up pretty good, but faceplate, knobs, buttons and switches are in good condition. Connections in back good also. Bought this some time back, but seller didn't take much care in packing it, put it in a box and let it go... no bubble wrap, no peanuts, just some newspaper. Guy disappeared from online right after. Anyway I was going to try to fix it but I got too much stuff and in a lot better shape so I'm going to let someone else look at it and maybe get her up and running. Like I said, she powers on, but all controls are scratchy, and it sounds as if she's trying to blow the speakers, even at low volume. Tuner does not work either. Probably would be better if she was just parted out, but, I'll let you be the judge. She'll be better packaged this time for a safer trip to you, or local pickup is possible if you're close
