Description: These pre-owned cards have not been folded yet and do not include envelopes. A few have corner creases, two have some dark smudges from storage and there is some light wear to the edges. Please see photos and use zoom to assess any noted damage. I’m guessing they are vintage from the early 1990s. They measure approximately 6.75” by just under 4.75” when folded. They would need 7” wide by 5” envelopes. The paper is a nice card stock weight, total weight of the 40 cards is 12.2 oz. The artist that painted the original of these prints is Irvin Shope. Irvin Shope was an American painter who lived from 1900-1977, he was born on his father’s Circle Arrow Ranch in the Boulder Valley of Jefferson County, Montana on May 11, 1900. He would later use his father’s brand, a circle arrow, to sign his work. Shope was voted into the National Cowboy Artists Association in 1966 and was the first Montana artist to be exhibited in the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
