Description: Vintage Venetian Sommerso Fancy Beads beaded necklace featuring these chunky glass beads in two fab colors. Sommerso is Italian for "sunken." Lots of sparkly avventurina swimming around solid white centers sunken into clear white and blue glass. I love the diversity of sommerso glass beads. I have two types listed and will have a few more listed shortly. Necklace is 17.5" long making this a choker type necklace. There are 20 Venetian Sommerso fancy beads. Large chunky types measure 12 mm and the small rounds measure 7 mm. Each of the chunky type beads has its own pair of brass filigre bead caps. The entire necklace is hand wired. The hook clasp goes around the space between the smaller round beads. I see no issues with the glass beads. There is some vertigris on some of the bead caps. Since these glass beads are made by hand there will be variations in style, size, and decor. Please study the pictures carefully as they are an interal part of this listing.
