A little heavy. No fill. Backing is off-white (natural) color and appears to be cotton.Measures about 70" wide x 92" long. May be used on Full (Double) size beds as either a coverlet or bedspread. Please check your measurement requirements before ordering.Excellent to Like New condition. Used/displayed very little. No damage. One very tiny light brown speck on back edge. Some stiches from quilting show thru front fabric. From smoke free home.There is a story with this quilt...A relative made this quilt and put it up for sale in a local shop. One day she visited my home and saw her quilt. "Why do you have this?" she asked. I told her I liked it so I bought it. She said, "You don't want this scrap quilt! If I had known you wanted a quilt, I would have made you a fancier one." Then she asked, "Why do you like it?" I said, "I like it because it looks happy." She started laughing, then said "that’s funny, because I was happy when I was making it."
