Description: Vintage Steven Chinese Checkers 802 Pixie Toys Metal Game 1965 & Box READ ALL This 1965 Pixie Toys Special Deluxe #802 Chinese Checkers game will make a great addition to your collection. It includes the original metal game board with plastic insert drawers, plastic game piece "marbles", plastic checkers and what appears to be the original paperboard box. ITEM DETAILS: Approximate weight is 1 lb 14 ozsMeasures approximately 1" x 13.25" x 13.25" (overall size of original manufacturer's paperboard box)CONDITION >>> In AS-IS vintage pre-owned used condition with wear to all components/pieces. Specific wear to the gameboard includes dents, dings, chips, rust, scratches across the printed surface, chipped/worn away paint/finish on the edges, scuffing, abrasions, rust, scratches, pitting, dimpling, dulling, tarnish, patina, the black plastic drawer has a chipped off corner which is no longer present, fading, there is some pressed metal "dimpling" along the outer edges of the flat metal, heavier scratches across the color imprint on the metal as shown in photos, rust/darkened areas on the silver seam/edge around the outer edge of the gameboard, and hazing to the glossy finish of the paint, nicks, gouges, chipped off paint, air bubbles, and overall wear from use and play. Wear to the round plastic "marbles" game pieces includes factory original seams with plastic debris/remnants attached to the pieces, the manufacturing quality of the plastic pieces is that of "novelty" quality and not very refined or finished, at least one of the white pieces has splitting, visible seams/mold marks, scratches/abrasions/scuffing on the plastic surface finish, some of the white pieces are discolored/yellowed/stained, some of the blue pieces are a different color of blue and are either discolored or not original, dents, dings, uneven shapes/out of round, dirt, dust, grime, stains and overall wear from being played with. Wear to the plastic checkers game pieces includes dirt, dust, grime, visible mold seams/marks, dents, dings, scratching, the manufacturing quality is of lightweight plastic "novelty" quality, unevenly molded details, rough patches/edges/seams, plastic residue and overall wear from age and handling. Wear to the paperboard box (lid and tray) includes separated edges on the long sides/corners, ripped corners on the lid and tray which have been taped over the years (which has come undone), tears, torn away surface finish on the back of the tray where packing tape was pulled off of it, torn away color imprint on the sides/edges and front of the lid where packing tape was removed, heavy scratching on the color imprint on the lid front/sides, soft & dented corners, tears, scuffing, abrasions, stains, dents, dings, there is some rippling on the front of the lid where it might have gotten wet or moist, yellowing, discoloring, scratching across the front of the lid on the color imprint, wrinkling, creases, stains, ink residue/stains, brittleness, dry rot, the original retail sticker is on the side of the lid, and overall wear from age and heavy use.
