Description: —> This beautiful creamer and sugar set in the Blue Dahlia pattern is in very good vintage condition. There is a slight chip to the underside of the lid of the sugar (shown) and a dime sized discoloration at the top of the lid (shown). Neither are noticeable unless you are looking for them. Each of these pieces are hand-painted, and stamped on the bottom as shown.—> The Blue Dahlia pattern (#5220) was introduced by Stangl in 1966, and was produced until 1978 as part of their Prestige line, which features sculptured patterns created by skilled artisans. —> Measurements: The creamer is approximately 4” in diameter, while the sugar is approximately 5” in diameter. They’re both ~ 3” H —> Stangl Pottery was a continuation of Fulper Pottery which began in the 1800s. The Stangl line began in 1929 and was known for their dinnerware and their bird figurines. The patterns featured folk art designs and nature, until the company was sold and shut down in 1978.
