Description: Vintage Sioux City Sarsaparilla Bottle Embossed Cowboy Old West Scene Mexico. This is a 12 oz Souix City Brown Sarsaparilla soda bottle. Brown in color. Western design embossed on both sides of the bottle. The design is of a cowboy entering a saloon on one side, and exiting the saloon on the other side. Between the cowboys there are double panels and scrolled edges. The top of the bottle says, "CA Redemption Value". Along the Heel it reads; VT. IA - 5 cent MI 10 cent REFUND CT DE. MA. ME. NY. OR 5 cent. At the base of the neck of the bottle, it says, "Sarsaparilla". The other side in same area reads, "Sioux City". The bottom of the bottle has the hallmark of a V in a circle. The "V" represents the name of the founders, Russell and Joann Vegelsong. Their company was called, "Summit Art Glass". Marked Made in Mexico. Bottle is empty, no cap. The bottle measures 7 5/8 inches tall. It is 2 5/8 inches wide. The bottle is in great condition. No chips or cracks. No damage to embossing.
