Vintage Newport 500 Electronic Grand Prix Racing Game 1980 Castle Toy, EXCELLENT

Description: Excellent working condition. Fully tested. Including: steering, collision detection, changing gears, changing high/low knob (right side). Sound works. Wheel is stiffer than I would have guessed - I have only seen this unit of this toy so I don't know if it is normal or not. It functions completely fine, just stiffer than I would have thought. The collision detection is good, not perfect. It seems like sometimes the center car would register me hitting it if I was on the left side of it. Dodging it on the right side worked. Dodging left and right car worked fine. Box is very good to excellent condition. Cosmetically and structurally. This even comes with the original styrofoam (I haven't seen this elsewhere in my research) which not only guarantees you can display or store it safely, but that it has BEEN stored safely. Very well taken care of. Small amount of sticker peel on one part (see close up photo). But otherwise very very good. I doubt there's a lot out there in better cosmetic shape. Ships well protected.
