Description: Vintage Leather Bound Journal Book with Embossment of Gazelle We have had this diary/book for many years in our treasure search and this has always stuck out as unusual. This leather covered book has the embossed antelope or gazelle as well as side markings to make it look like a book sitting on a shelf. Please see the pictures for details. The book itself is 6 1/2 inches wide, 71/4 inches long, and 2 inches thick. The pages are clean, unmarked, and very heavy stock. They each have the shading on the edges as well to match the binding. I do not know its history, but feel that it came from a very eclectic estate.
