Description: Fun find clearing a family estate! This was my great aunts who lived through the depression- and kept everything!!! Smoke and pet free home. I believe it is a late 1960’s model Hoover Vacuum that works!!! It has a squared off front with no light, so pretty sure my dating is correct. And it has all OEM parts!!! Plus 12 Type C Bags included Hoover Convertible Model 1010- from what I can find, the color seems to identify with spring green and seal griege (a brownish grey tint) handle, trim/surround and cord. Has the original tilt bag with snaps. Two are intact but does need repair. See large safety pin. These bags are secured with a rubber ring. I cannot find a replacement ring that looks similar. I replaced what was there when I changed the bag and it still works. Personally I would use a good old elastic rubber band. The belt is in place, but it does look worn and will likely need replacing in the near future. I may have a replacement and will send if can locate. The roller appears in good condition and turns— the sturdy unit will give you a work out, although seems lighter than I recall as a young girl:). There are some marks and scratches, visible in pics- it has been wiped but not serviced. This is a great, functioning conversation piece. Would be a good addition for a collector/prop. More pics available upon request. All in pics included less the manual. I am trying to track and will update according. Note: I just added a pic prior to posting of lower handle screw. Does not appear original but is very secure in place. Any Hoover collector input much appreciated.
