VINTAGE LAFAYETTE COM PHONE MARK II / CB Telephone Handset Communication Unit.

Description: This vintage Lafayette Mark II phone is a unique addition to any collection. Made in Japan, this phone features a classic design and is perfect for anyone who loves vintage electronics. The com-phone CB powers on, and you can see from the video and pics — when I hit the transmit, you can see the deflection of the needle..and the red light illuminates.. so I do believe this is a working unit… I do not have any antenna hooked up to it because I do not have an antenna.. this is the furthest testing that has been done. No more testing has been done on this unit ..but I do have some extra RG 59 antenna wire.. it does plug in the back.. pretty sure this new cable it’s still zip tied and it looks like there’s a round 25-50 feet of it.. I’ll be throwing it in for free.. so all you would need is some sort of antenna that would hook up to the other end.. channels 1 through 23 Right now the shipping is calculated through USPS. If it is cheaper through UPS or FedEx, I will send it out that way to save you money and refund you the difference. With its brand name and model designation, this phone is a great conversation starter. Its country of manufacture adds to its historical significance.
