Description: Vintage Kodak Ektralite 30. 110 film camera in original box and with original instruction booklet. The Ektralite 30 is a more advanced camera than the more often found Ektralite 10. The 30 has a 22mm f/5.6 lens (versus the 10's 25mm f/8) and a top 1/500 shutter speed. The box also says it has automatic exposure control - which I think means it adjusts exposure according to the speed of the film that's loaded. The camera has a built in electronic flash (uses 2 AA batteries) that swings out from the side of the camera. I have not tested this camera with film. The viewfinder lens is nice and clear. The film advance crank works and the shutter releases when you press the shutter button. The flash swings out from the side when you press the flash on button. The film compartment door latch works. A previous owner's initials are in the initials box but the original sticker sheet comes with the camera so you can replace the initials with your own. The flash battery compartment appears to be free of corrosion. I installed two fresh AA batteries and the quickly charged up, a flashing red ready light appeared in the viewfinder, and the flash fired when I pressed the shutter release. That's all I can think to test without actually running film through the camera. The camera has been used and it has the some scuffs and light surface scratches on the body. The packing material inside the box is starting to break down and the tray is shedding some of the yellow flocking. Please see photos.
