Would've had a larger flame in the photo...but we have the ceiling fan running, and because we're in Texas, no we're not willing to turn the fan down for a photo...it's WARM here...heh... ;-) Aside from the fact that when you press the button a flame appears...I'm afraid we don't know much about this. Comes to us from a friend who claimed to have used it when he smoked pipes back in the 1970's. So...while we don't know for certain how old it is, we have a pretty good idea it's probably at least 50 years old now...ish...
