Description: This vintage 1960's, 70's, working, tested AC and DC, Hitachi TRQ-220 tape recorder in excellent condition case and machine. It is a great have for any collector or enthusiast of vintage electronics. Made in Japan. This portable cassette player comes in its original mic and stand, case and it's AC cord. Recording with it's mic is working! It looks to have had little use. It heads have been clean and demagnetize. The motor has been lubricated.The battery conatcts in the compartment have been Detoxit. The paper in the compartment has a stain. It had a small minor, very discrete dent on the right front upper side, please see photo. It is missing it's case shoulder strap. It is very heavy. The brand Hitachi is well-known for its quality and durability, making this recorder a reliable piece for all your cassette-playing needs.The model TRQ-220 is a classic and sought-after item.
