Description: This is a Lovely Vintage Handcrafted Metal Mesh and Beaded Jewelry / Trinket Box / Chest.The openwork metal mesh has a green wired into each diamond shape opening. The beads look like they make be glass rather than plastic but I cannot tell for certain. In any case, they are quite beautiful. The box is made from steel with an antiqued copper patina. The box has a hump back / camel back in the manner of a treasure chest style. The box measures 4" wide x 3" deep. The total height to the center of the lid including the small metal feet is 3 1/2".The box is an estate item and we do not know the age. It looks to me like it could possibly be circa 1950s, 1960s, or 1970s. There is no maker's mark on the box.The box has a press-fit latch on the front made from a curled piece of the metal.
