Description: Very nicely made patchwork friendship quilt with embroidered signatures on the blocks. Friendship quilts were made for women who are getting married, having an important anniversary, or during sickness. This one is machine pieced, with outline grid machine quilting. It looks to never have been used or washed. There are no stains, odors, or splitting seams or holes. There was a small slip of paper with it that said "made by Emma McGuire", whose signature block is in the top row, center of the quilt. The fabric prints are high quality and very pretty florals, backing is a high quality unbleached muslin.
