The wallhanging has a colorful palette of turquoise, black, reddish-brown, green and white made of dyes from indigo, pomegranate, sorghum and minerals. The jewelry and display of twelve Moroccan coins attached by tiny chains to a Berber / Tuareg amulet in the center top of the wallhanging provides added attention. The coins are all antique and were made at the beginning of the twentieth century. There are five distinct pendants that rest at the top of five, beautiful, intricately embroidered strips.
