Because of the resin printing process, the surface finish is very smooth. A mirror finish can be achieved by applying several coats of gloss paint, with zero sanding or other prep. Fits many 1930s-1950s drill presses from Craftsman, Atlas, Dunlap etc. These, as well as the originals, are a loose fit in the pulley cover and easy to remove for regular oiling.
