The stories included in this volume are; The Purloined Letter, The Thousand-and-Second Tale of Scheherazade, A Descent into the Maelstrom, Von Kempelen and His Discovery, Mesmeric Revelations, The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar, The Black Cat, The Fall of the House of Usher, Silence-A Fable, The Masque of Red Death, The Cask of Amontillado, The Imp of the Perverse, The Island of the Fay, The Assignation, The Pit and the Pendulum, The Premature Burial, The Domain of Arnheim, Landor's Cottage, William Wilson, The Tell-Tale Heart, Berenice, and Eleonora. The pages are in very good condition, no marks or tears. Minor writing on the inside cover and title page (5th picture, top of pages). Most damage is left to the hardcover, some of the fabric on the back has been peeled away, and completely gone from the spine. The binding is in need of repair - the front cover is still attached, but the binding is weak and is showing signs of coming apart towards the top (4th picture, top right of the spine).
