Description: My dad bought this little cutie at auction sometime in the late 70s and early 90s. He used to scour Lancaster, Pennsylvania Amish auctions for hand made quilts and blanket chests. This piece has a beautiful centered diamond design with the classic Amish colors typical of the Pennsylvania Dutch. It’s an excellent shape with some wear typical of its age. I could really only guess but it is probably from the 1920’s. In the style of that era for sure. Dad had a seamstress Based stitch Velcro to the back for hanging on the wall.
