Description: Vintage FABER-CASTELL TK-matic 0.5 Mechanical Pencil. NOS Model 9725 for 0.5 mm lead made in West Germany in the early 1980’s. This is an early (box style, lead stickers) “green” version and it is in excellent, well, NOS (New Old Stock) condition. Clocking in at 5 ¾” in length, this is a classic in the world of mechanical pencils. It has a unique automatic feed that keeps pumping out the lead as you need it…no button pushing required until the last of a piece is used up…then one more push and good until the next piece expires. Pretty clever…and that with combined with superb machining and construction, make it perhaps one of the best mechanical pencils ever made….
