Description: DukeG's Vintage Tool Emporium Up for sale today is a Vintage 8" Swing Bartholomew Non-Ratcheting Brace in GOOD condition. See link for condition definition A nice, early brace. An example of his 1870 Patent No. 103821 covering the chuck design. Top hand has some play, but otherwise in good shape. Some minor pitting on the frame as shown in the photos. Chuck closes up well.
