Description: Vintage 60 Slot Cassette Tape Holder Storage Carrying Case - Double Sided Comments: This cassette tape case is well made with fully functional latches. It is designed to hold 60 cassette tapes in their plastic cases. I don't know when or where this was made. The numbered tag in the photo is there to help me keep track of inventory. Size: Approximately 14 3/4 x 10 1/4 x 6 3/4 inches. Construction Details: Vinyl-type covering over unknown stiff material with plastic trays inside. Inside is lined with some sort of fabric. Metal latches and rivets. Hard plastic handle. Condition Notes: Please closely examine the many photos provided. There is of course some light general wear, light scuffs and a few extraneous marks. There is some corner and edge wear. The previous owner used plastic embossing tape labels on the handle-side to identify the type of music they stored in the case. There is a faint outline where the embossing tape was removed if you look closely. There are a few light impressions visible on the outside plus bigger impressions where one of the lids was pushed down / bent in a little. That dip in the lid gets pushed up and the lid looks mostly flat once supported by a tray full of cassette tapes. There is some rust on the latches and rivets. There are a couple of broken trim threads. There is some wear inside the lids, especially at the "hinge" crease. Please see the photos section for a good look. Zoom in for a better look at details. It all depends on where the box needs to be shipped to and how big the box needs to be. In most cases UPS shipping is significantly less expensive than USPS (regular mail) for large boxes. It might not make sense, but the USPS shipping costs for shipping two of these cassette cases together is more than double the cost of shipping one alone. The huge box required for shipping two together makes the USPS postage rates go way up. On the other hand it looks like UPS rates for shipping 2 or more of these cases together will be much less than the USPS rate. I can't give a specific combined shipping cost estimate until I know exactly what you want to buy and exactly where the shipment needs to be sent. So, please get in touch with your shipping address and how many cases you want or just add what you want to your shopping cart and request a shipping quote. I promise to give you the best rate that I can. That doesn't necessarily mean you'll be happy about the shipping cost, but it is what it is. In some cases, signature tracking may be used. *I reserve the option to ship using the carrier of my choice instead of the buyer selected carrier if it makes sense to do so. For example, if two of these cases are purchased and the buyer selects USPS Ground Advantage for combined shipping, it might make a lot more sense to use UPS Ground shipping instead because of significant cost savings.
