Vintage 1980s Bill Blass deep-pile corduroy jacket and skirt M/L in persimmon

Description: Bill Blass ruled the Newe York runways for decades, from the demure postwar looks to the more striking sty8les of the 1980s, from luxurious evening gowns to sportswear like this suit -- characteristically Blass, in dramatically simple sportswear lines but realized with plush, wide-wale corduroy and satin-finished lining. It's that lining that makes it possible to wear this jacket buttoned up with a mandarin collar, or open with satin-faced lapels. The double-breasted jacket has buttons in the same satin fabric, contrasting beautifully with the nap of the corduroy. There are no size nor fabric content labels in this, so I have taken measurements. Jacket: shoulder 18 inches; sleeve 24 inches; pit to pit 21 inches; length 31 inches.The lined skirt: waist 16 inches across; length 26 inches; widest hip.19-20 inches.
