By issuing this rock-solid truck with minimal updates, the company was able to offer a low-cost toy despite the inflation that roiled the U.S. economy during this period. There is one noticeable change in the '72 model: The stabilizers, or trailer feet, are round. The '68 and '69 stabilizers are square. This toy was played with and shows signs of its age.
