No dust cover, this book is in fair condition with noticable wear. Cover has some fading with wear on the edges and corners. 1928 was the first year for publication but I found a different cover on a first edition than this one. 1st year published but may not be a first edition. Other auctions are stating this cover is also first edition. Just FYI we do not know either way.
