A beautiful variation of aquatic moss that can be commonly seen in planted aquarium tanks. It is similar in appearance to Christmas Moss, but typically has denser, darker green, frond growth. Color is a rich green like other aquarium mosses, but can have some areas of brown when stressed or coming out of transit. Anchor Moss is very hardy and with simple care, will grow readily. Aquarium moss provides excellent shade and coverage for shrimplets and small fish. It can also be used to mimic foliage on Bonsai-style driftwood or attached sparingly to other types of driftwood for an aged look in the planted tank.
