Description: Welcome to my Store, this listing is for a beautiful Hand Embroidered Quilted Coverlet/Lap Throw handmade using a central Panel from a vintage and preowned - in excellent condition - Summer Coverlet/Bedspread original handmade using a very light weight woven fabric in very light pink color, the fabric feel like cotton organdy/handkerchief Linen I am really not sure, the original owner did a Master hand embroidered considering the kind of fabric was used to made the piece, all the embroidery details are intact, the face of the Belle is so pretty, I did my best to keep all the details and give the piece some color for that reason I choose the light peachy-pink color 100%cotton woven Flannel as backside lining, I didn't use batting inside, just hand quilting some stitches using pink color thread around the embroidery to keep the fabrics together and used a 100%cotton double sized bias tape with pink and white small checkered print as biding, the finished Coverlet is very light and soft. I always trying to re-purpose old vintage textiles, the original piece is a treasure, there are no holes, rips or bad odors in this piece, was made as a pretty Throw for a Sofa/big cozy Recliner, for the back seat of the car or just to have at hand when somebody need something pretty and soft to hold into, is kind of Cottage/Farmhouse decor, have lots of handmade details, is going to be the center of everybody attention, you will love it!
