Description: For sale is the M1 Garand stock shown in the photos. Circle p on pistol grip. Wood is in decent shape but does have lots of dings and scratches as shown in the pictures. Has a little green paint dripped on it. Has some small pieces of wood missing near buttplate and a hairline crack under stock near rear sling swivel as shown w grease pencil mark. No metal. A good project stock. NOTE I AM WILLING TO SELL BULK AT A VERY GOOD PRICE FOR GROUPS OF STOCKS THAT ARE ALL IN SIMILAR CONDITION; LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED 10 OR MORE STOCKS AND WE CAN WORK A DEAL. PLEASE NOTE A FEW GENERAL THINGS ABOUT THESE STOCKS: I have quite a few crates of stocks i purchased in bulk for resale. I will try to list a few each week or two so keep checking my site if you dont see exactly what you want. They vary in condition greatly; from rough to excellent condition, some with beautiful grain. In order to move these quickly, I am pricing them at what i consider to be under market value. Most of these were all taken off lend-lease M1 rifles that were returned to the US government from other countries. There are some Greek lend-lease, some Danish lend-lease, some Turkish lend-lease and some Philipine lend-lease, possibly other countries as well. Most are USGI but some were replacement stocks installed by theh other countries. Most are walnut but some are birch and some are beech. A few were from ROTC rifles. Ignore white grease pencil marks that i marked on stocks during inventory and sorting. It comes off easily, but i won't be taking the time to get it off nor will i clean any stocks of dirt, grime or cosmoline. Why take away your fun? Please look at the pictures carefully because they are a large part of the description. YOU WILL BE RECEIVING THE STOCK SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS OF THIS LISTING. Issues i have found with SOME of these (not necessarily THIS stock) include:*Some have missing steel parts (ranging from all metal to no metal and everything in between-see pics in listing)*Some have loose buttplates (not taking time to tighten)*Some have a thick coat of cosmoline*Some have been painted*Some have been coated in thick varnish*Quite a few have multiple dings, scratches and gouges.*All have been sanded to varying degrees. Some very heavily sanded Please note my past Garand barrel sales were under Strawberryblonde2010 and Southernbottle hunter both on ebay. However i got a divorce and those were in her name so i no longer sell under those ebay sites. I sold over 500 garand barrels on those sites over the last 6 or 7 years with complete customer satisfaction. While my motive is profit, of course, i pride myself in maintaing a good reputation and trying to put historic pieces in the hands of those that will put them to good use for a reasonable price. Making a quick buck in a dishonest way is a great way to RUIN a business, but i still see some doing business that way. They stay in business by selling to new customers with no repeat customers because people learn who not to trust when they buy historic items. I would rather have a happy customer because my life is much easier. I always accept returns per my ebay policy. I want 100 percent satisfaction in my customers! I do combine shipping and will give you a GREAT DEAL ON purchasing multiple stock listings AND i often travel between Huntsville and Mobile/Pensacola so if you see other listings you want or would like to make a bulk purchase and meet me somewhere in Alabama to have free shipping then we can certainly work a deal. I am motivated to move these and even have an interest in bartering for items such as garand receivers and other items so if you are interested in bulk purchases of Garand barrels or Garand stocks let me know!
