This knife is described by collectors as the 'short combat knife with M6-type sheath'--or the 'USMC Paramarine' knife. This hard to find knife would make an important addition to any military knife collection. The knife offered here is a fine example of this combat model. The handle and sheath have matching serial numbers '8327'. The blade also has the usual mark 'BCD' engraved in electric pencil. This knife has a brass pommel and an iron guard. One side of the blade is flat on these knives. The other side has a raised middle ridge. The short scabbard is made in the same style as the early M3 trench knife's M6 scabbard.
