Description: UNITED STATES HERITAGE AWARD MEDAL & RIBBON FOR YOUTHS 11-18 DESIGNED BY SCOUTS This United States Heritage was designed by Scouts to give young people recognition for learning about the heritage of the USA. It may earned by any youth in the U.S., upon successfully completing the requirements and may be completed with a unit, group, family or individually. The gold tone medal is for youths 11-18 or adults (silver tone is for youths 6-10). The gold tone medal features an Eagle with a 5-point star behind him with raised lettering UNITED STATES HERITAGE (the reverse is blank). The grosgrain ribbon has wide blue borders and center red/white/red stripes and has a working pin clasp on the back. The medal with ribbon measures approx. 3-1/4" long and medal has a diameter of 1-1/4". When item is packed SECURELY for shipping, the weight is 5 ounces.
