Description: 12 Apr 2017 : This very popular PCB is back to stock. We have improved the silkscreen annotation to make the board easier to use. This is a bare PCB of an ultra low noise, low distortion microphone amplifier PCB. The design is based on the application circuit presented in TI Burr-Brown's Low Noise Low Distortion Instrumentation Amplifier INA217. The same board can be used for other similar pin-out and performance ICs such as THA1510 and SSM2019. The circuit features balanced input. The input connector can be either common 3-pin terminal block, or XLR balanced female connection. The board is designed so that Neutrik's NC3FAH-0 XLR female connector can be directly mounted on the PCB. NC3FAH-0 can be in turn mounted on the panel with screws for clean integration with the chassis. The board also includes connections to hook to phantom power( can by bypass too with jumpers) to suit various types of microphone. Gain control is done by a resistor. When using a variable resistor in place of the fixed resistor the amplifier's gain can be variably adjusted. The assembled board picture is attached for reference. The listing is for one piece of bare board. Supply voltage : +/-12V to +/-15V PCB Dimension : 70mm x 69mm PCB thickness : 1.6mm PCB Copper thickness : 75um( 4 times normal thickness !)
