The plugs that attach the shackles to snake mountain are made from flexible rubber allowing them to be easily inserted and removed without damaging the play set. The links on the chain are plastic and move freely like real chain. The disc that holds the shackles is rubbery. By pinching the disc the shackles open and can be placed on even some of the largest wrists. The shackles are plastic. To install this item you simply plug the rubber plug in to the esisting hole made for the original shackles. The length of the chain is 8.5 CM. The over all length from the tip of the plug to the tip of the shackle is 11 CM. Please note these have small parts and take a lot of time to assemble so handling time is about five days.
