Description: Two pieces of antique yellow ware, one money. The larger bowl is 10” wide by 4.25”deep and has a pouring spout. It’s what I’d call good antique condition for it’s age. It has speckles under the glaze which you can see in the pictures. It has really nice “rope” and “scallop” decoration and drying kiln marks on the inside. The glaze on the outside varies from glossy to flat and was done at the time of manufacture. The smaller bowl is 8” by 3.75” deep. It has three white rings. I estimate the age somewhere around 1860s. This bowl has one chip and a zig zag tight crack in the bottom of the inside of the bowl which goes from rim to rim ((see pictures). This piece is not perfect but would make a nice shelf piece or display piece. Neither piece is perfect and I’ve priced them accordingly but they show nicely. I have a large collection of yellow ware which I have enjoyed collecting over the last 50 years. I’m down sizing. Please check out my other yellow ware pieces.
