Description: This cable can be used to jumper between JP1A and JP1B on the TRS-80 Model III motherboard. It tends to be missing on diskless Model III's. If you have a diskless Model III and want to add an internal floppy controller or RS-232 expansion card, it is necessary to add this cable. I just bought my own diskless Model III and am upgrading it. I searched far and wide and could not find the cable, so I had Digikey fabricate it to my specifications. I asked them to make it 10 inches long. As long as I was paying the one-time setup charge and having it custom-fabbed, I asked them to make two additional cables, thinking it might help someone else. One of the photos in the listing shows the actual cable installed on my own motherboard. It mates perfectly. I have not yet squeezed it to permanently-bent shape in the photo, so you can see how it first installs.
