Description: PAIR OF ELEGANT LOUIS XV ARM CHAIRS UPHOLSTERED IN COWHIDEWe are extremely pleased to present for your kind consideration an incredible pair of French arm chairs which I purchased new and had upholstered with genuine cowhide. Twenty years ago I saw a similar pair displayed at the famous Stewart Galleries in Palm Springs, where I had made purchases and was known to the owners. Upon inquiry, I was told that the pair on display were sold. I was counseled to try to locate another pair and that they would share the resources to have them done in cowhide. In 2005, I came across this brand new pair and bought them. I then ordered two cowhides from the Wyoming tannery for which Stewart Galleries gave me contact info. When receiving the material, I drove the chairs to the upholstery shop which Stewart Galleries recommended in Palm Desert and left them to be re-done. Receipts included in pix afford documentation. They were brought back to Las Vegas where they were staged to accompany a Treaty of Versailles bureau plat for twenty years but not used. I lost my soulmate last year and sold our large home. I will be St. Thomas bound where I have a second home, making the chairs expendable. You may check our impressive 100% positive feedback for assurance as to authenticity and customer satisfaction. I can arrange proper packaging and prompt dispatching. Shipping cost is an estimate to be confirmed contingent on your location. If you happen to be nearby, I can arrange to have them driven to you. Much enjoyment to the fortunate new owner of these mind bogglingly beautiful heirloom quality chairs! Irish good luck most assuredly conveys with them (wink)!
