This kit contains the THT version of the Electronic Dice Kit. There are over 70 parts to be placed on the board. I've updated the board to better show the proper placement of the chips and I've added the "ROLL" statement above the buttons. This kit is also offered with a shallow base and a premium base that holds a 9v battery. See other listings. Once you power it up with 9 volts dc (I've powered it up with 5 volts, just runs dimmer), press any of the 4 buttons to roll the dice. Once you let off the button, they will slowly come to a stop on random numbers. If you are new to soldering, I highly recommend watching some videos on the web. This helped me tremendously with learning different techniques (and relearning things I forgot). Contact me if you have questions or run into trouble.
