Simple, you purchase a stock size or bespoke, shiny, ALUMINIUM EXTENSION from my good self...see my other items to view.HOWEVER, ......NOW..... like a complete wombat you have somehow destroyed the very vulnerable connecting lead.Maybe you bought a cheap one that was really a PS2 lead converted or in a drunken fit of rage after losing an air battle ( yes you got drunk AFTER landing....I know, I know) and overdid the strain upon said lead !!Now what do you do??? WONDER NO LONGER GOOD PEOPLE OF FLEA BAY...simply purchase a replacement here. Choose the size of extension you have and select from the dropdown menu, purchase and Lo and Behold a PROPPER 5 pin Male to 5 pin Female will be yoursPLEASE NOTE: All cables supplied under 10cms in length will have " Shrunk Wrapped" Plugs fitted.FITTING THE EXTENSION AND CABLE. ++IMPORTANT, PLEASE MAKE SURE THE BASE OF THE JOYSTICK IS NOT PLUGGED INTO THE PC OR POWERED USB HUB WHEN CHANGING CONNECTING CABLES.++ After separating the Joystick from the base. plug the cable onto the base socket, and feed up through the extension and carefully screw the extension onto the base. The cable will protrude through the top of the extension allowing for careful connection to the joystick. The cable will be slightly overlength so after connection is made, CAREFULLY twist the joystick slowly to coil the excess cable into the extension. Then holding the joystick still, screw the joystick collar fully home on the extension. After this process has been completed, avoid rotating the joystick any more than necessary to achieve the desired "offset feel" ( positionI thank ye .
